papermaker. He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and of
the MFA in the Book Arts Program at the University of Alabama, and
is one half of the partnership that makes up Convivio
Bookworks, a small press and book arts studio in nearby Lake
Worth. His favorite book is The Sketchbook of Geoffrey Crayon
by Washington Irving. He reads some Washington Irving every time he
											catches a cold.

Jonathan joined the JCBA with a background in craft, visual arts, and the humanities. He is an alumnus of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and of the University of Miami -- with graduate degrees in Fiber and Material Studies, and Liberal Studies respectively. Along with exploring the sculptural possibilities of single stitch crochet, Jonathan is also a member of the art collective Encoded Objects. Currently, he is in the final stages of the creative writing graduate program here at Florida Atlantic University, where he encountered one of his most recent favorite reads -- The Book of Delights by Ross Gay.
