FAU
Libraries PC Use Policy |
Internet accessible PC's are intended for the use of FAU faculty,
students and staff. Nonaffiliated users are welcome to use this
equipment when not needed by FAU faculty, students and staff.
The FAU Libraries provide public use computers to
facilitate the University community's access to electronic information.
The primary purpose of our electronic service is for library-related
research and/or study. IRM/AISS supports non-library related activities
such as e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets etc. for FAU faculty,
students and staff.
The Internet is a global information network and the Libraries cannot
regulate the content or validity of the information accessed, nor the
availability of any given site. Through the home pages,
the Libraries attempt to provide links to resources that are useful, informative, relevant to
the curriculum, and reliably accessible.
GUIDELINES FOR USE:
Questions regarding public service policies should be directed to
Dawn Smith, Assistant Director of
Public Services.
