Libraries Graduate Student Library Privileges |
Active status FAU graduate school students have full library privileges, including remote access to licensed library resources. Please see our Borrowing Privileges webpage.
An exception is available for graduate students who are working on their thesis or dissertation but are not currently enrolled to check out books, use interlibrary loan, or remotely access library databases.
FAU graduate students who were enrolled during the previous two semesters, but who are not enrolled during the current semester, may still be eligible to receive full library privileges by filling out a "Unregistered Graduate Student" form which the Access Services Department will use to verify your status.
Description of the registration policy and registration options that satisfy the continuous enrollment requirement can be found on the Graduate School's web site (http://graduate.fau.edu/Pubs/pol.pdf) - page 22 or the University’s Catalog Academic Policies(http://www.fau.edu/universitycatalog/pdf_revisions/CombAcadPol.pdf) - page 60
To comply with publisher license agreements, remote access to FAU licensed library resources expire at the end of the last semester for which one is registered.
Questions regarding public service policies should be directed to Dawn Smith, Assistant Dean, Public Services.
