Library Building FAU Libraries
All Night Study Room Use Policy

The All Night Study Room of S.E. Wimberly Library is intended as a place for study and relaxation and a place where snacks and legal beverages may be consumed outside of the Library proper. A pay phone, vending machines and a coin-operated copy machine are available on a 24-hour basis for the convenience of Library users.

The All Night Study is not intended as a meeting, recreation or banquet hall, and boisterous socializing in it is not allowed. Rooms are provided at the University Center for such activities.

Your cooperation in keeping the area clean, by discarding your trash in the proper receptacles provided, will help us maintain a pleasant and safe study environment around the clock.

After the main Library building is closed, the All-Night Study remains open for currently registered students and students of PBCC/BCC/IRCC only. Other persons in the area after midnight will be requested to leave by University Police.

During University intercessional periods, the All-Night Study hours will be the same as those of the main Library building; however, the Library and/or University Police may close the room at any time throughout the semester without prior notice.

Questions regarding public service policies should be directed to Dawn Smith, Assistant Director of Public Services.
