The Library Research Tools listed below are intended to
assist your work using library resources on campus or from a remote
location. Some are of a technical nature while others are more
academic. A few of these will require your 14-digit Owl Card number.

Citation Styles Online
This is a brief listing of web sites offering information on how to format citations according to various styles.
Comprehensive Journals List
Use this link to find journals available electronically and those available on the shelves at the MacArthur Campus Library.
EZ-Proxy
This is the electronic mechanism which makes your off-campus computer an extension of the library.
Access the library's subscription databases at any hour. Owl Card number is required.
ILL (Interlibrary Loan)
Make your requests for library materials not available at your home campus through ILLiad, the interlibrary loan system.
You may also view and renew items, receive articles electronically, and manage various aspects of your interlibrary loan
transactions here. Be sure to register an account first.
Renew FAU books through the Online Renewal Service (below). Owl Card number is required for registration.

RefWorks
Use RefWorks to manage and retrieve your bibliographies. Download Write-N-Cite to format
in-text citations and References within your document. View the
tutorial to appreciate how
this tool can make research and writing easier. Register for this on an on-campus computer or elsewhere using EZ-Proxy.
