Psychology Books

To find books in the FAU Libraries, use the online book catalog. FAU's book catalog has two search modes: Basic and Advanced. Basic Search gives the option of searching for books by keyword, author, title and subject. Advanced Search gives these options, plus several others. Open the box labeled "keyword" to view your search options. To search for books held only at the MacArthur Campus Library, open the "Location" box and choose Jupiter.

A general outline of the relevant Library of Congress Classification System call numbers for psychology topics is shown below. Books can be located on the shelves by these call numbers and searched in the book catalog using these terms.

In addition to the books in paper, FAU has begun to add databases of full text online books. netLibrary is a separate index of full-text books in all subject areas. netLibrary is available off-campus through EZ-Proxy.
