Call Numbers for Latin American Studies
While there is no general call number for Latin American Studies as a whole, you will find subjects pertaining to your topic spread throughout the collection. For instance, the history of Latin America ranges between F1202 - F3799 and breaks down by the history of each country. Political Science topics for Latin America are found at JL599.5 - JL3899. Spanish and French literary subjects are found in PQ. For more precise locations, we recommend that you speak with someone on the library staff. Both circulating and non-circulating (Reference) materials follow the same classification system.A search for your topic on WebLUIS may very well illustrate the interdiciplinary nature your topic. Searching Tips
FAU's book catalog has two search modes: Basic and Advanced. The Basic Screen gives the option of searching for books by keyword, author, title and subject. The Advanced Screen gives these options plus several others. Open the box labeled "keyword" to view your search options. To search only for books located in Jupiter, open the Location drop-down and select Jupiter.
