PALMM's Ringling Collection "The Ringling Theatre Collection project is entirely the work of the University of Florida’s Smathers Libraries. Description and arrangement of the Collection for digitization was the work of the Belknap Collection for the Performing Arts. The selection of new images for the digitization is the on-going responsibility of the Belknap Collection. The conversion project was designed by the Digital Library Center, which was joined by a volunteer staff to digitize images and to up-date database information. The Libraries’ Systems Department maintains both the Collection’s database and the programming essential to searching, retrieval and display. While the Digital Library Center maintains a digital archive of TIFF images, the Libraries’ Preservation Department maintains the Collection’s source archive, the Collection itself."
