Use the FAU Library Catalog to find books located in all of the FAU Libraries. To limit your search to books located only at the MacArthur Campus Library, select "Jupiter" under the Location drop-down menu. A keyword search allows you to search for any term relevant to your research topic. Keyword searching simply matches your search terms to any word included in book’s catalog listing.
Books can also be found in their physical locations by browsing specific areas of the collection. Generally, books in history are located within the call numbers starting with D, E, or F, while environmental or ecological books fall under the QH subdivision of science. Given that ideologies have affected the field of environmental studies over time, it is useful to consider sources from the philosophical and theological realms, classified under B. Also, it’s helpful to consider the social impact found within the political science sphere of academics, under J. Human ecology, which could also be helpful, is found under the heading GF, and books on the legal implications would be found under K.
