- Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI)
- The web site contains FBI initiatives, Most Wanted, popular FOIA requested documents, and
publications such as the Uniform Crime Reports which provide information on Crime in the
United States, Victims & Offenders, Hate Crime Statistics, and Law Enforcement Officers Killed
& Assaulted.
- Federal Justice Statistics on the Web
- The Federal Justice Statistics Resource Center (FJSRC) maintains the Bureau of Justice
Statistics (BJS) Federal Justice Statistics Program (FJSP) database, which contains
information about suspects and defendants processed in the Federal criminal justice
system. Using data obtained from Federal agencies, the FJSP compiles comprehensive
information describing defendants from each stage of Federal criminal case processing.
- Florida Department of Corrections Annual Report
- Contains
statistics about Florida state prison inmates and offenders on community
supervision.
- Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)
- Contains three "resource centers" for citizens, career, and criminal justice. The CJ Center
contains publications regarding Florida's justice system.
- Florida Victim Services Directory
- "The Victims Services Directory is published and maintained by the Florida Office of the
Attorney General, Division of Victim Services and Criminal Justice Programs. The directory
is intended to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information on programs and services
that are available to meet the needs of Florida's crime victims."
- Justice Information Center
- The National Criminal Justice Reference Service
(NCJRS) is one of the most extensive sources
of information on criminal and juvenile justice in the world. It provides services to an
international community of policymakers and professionals. NCJRS is a collection of
clearinghouses supporting all bureaus of the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs:
the National Institute of Justice, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention,
the Bureau of Justice Statistics, the Bureau of Justice Assistance,
the Office for Victims of Crime, and the OJP Program Offices. It also supports the
Office of National Drug Control Policy.

- The NIJ is "the research & Development branch of the U.S. Department of Justice."

browse publication titles or search by subject or keyword.
- SEARCH
- SEARCH, The National Consortium for Justice Information and Statistics, is a nonprofit
membership organization created by and for the states, which is dedicated to improving the
criminal justice system through the effective application of information and
identification technology. Since 1969, SEARCH's primary objective has been to identify
and help solve the information management problems of state and local justice agencies
confronted with the need to exchange information with other local agencies, state agencies,
agencies in other states, or with the federal government.

- DOJ is the parent department for a many of the federal law enforcement agencies in the
United States. This site provides access to publications, documents, FOIA requests, and
provides links to other federal, state, and local programs.
