Biography Books

FAU's book catalog has two search modes. Basic search allows you to search by keyword, author, title and subject. Advanced search offers you additional options, such as to limit your search by format. To search for books held only at the MacArthur Campus Library, open the "Location" box and choose "Jupiter".

Some of the books for which you are looking may be available electronically from netLibrary. You must be a FAU faculty, staff, or student to access the electronic collection and you will need to use EZ-Proxy. First time netLibrary users should select "Create Account" and choose a customized user name and password.

Books from FAU's S.E. Wimberley Library in Boca Raton can be requested by using your ILLiad account.

Biographical titles are shelved within the area of the person's subject specialty and are labeled according to the Library of Congress classification system. For example, books about Shakespeare will not be found in the Biography section, but rather in the literature section; books about Einstein will be in physics, and so on.
