AARON KULA, SCORE CONDUCTOR
Aaron Kula joined the FAU music faculty in 1997 as music director and conductor of the FAU Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia and University Klezmer Band. He serves on the conducting faculty of the New England Conservatory of Music and has conducted the NEC Youth symphony. He has been the principal guest conductor of the Boston Ballet since 1991 and is a teaching fellow at Boston University. He has conducted numerous performances of opera, ballet and symphonic literature throughout the US and in Europe. A diverse musician, Maestro Kula also composes and directs the Klezmer Company in original jazz arrangements of international Jewish folk music. He holds a Master of Music in Conducting with distinction in performance from the New England Conservatory.
