DR. HENRY ABRAMSON, ACADEMIC ADVISOR
Dr. Abramson, a native of northern Ontario, Canada, is a specialist in Eastern European Jewish history. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and held visiting positions at Hebrew University before taking his current position at Florida Atlantic University. He has published numerous scholarly articles and is the author of the critically acclaimed A Prayer of the Government: Ukrainians and Jews in Revolutionary Times, 1917-1920 (Harvard University Press 1999). He is currently writing an annotated translation of a collection of wartime Hasidic discourses discovered in the rubble of the Warsaw Ghetto.
