FAU Libraries Access to Safari Tech Books Online

Important: The FAU Library has received an unusual usage alert regarding our subscription to Safari Tech Books Online. Unless improper usage is ceased, the Library may have to restrict access or may permanently lose access to this resource.

As an FAU student, faculty or staff member, you may access the books available through Safari Tech Books Online. You may reproduce and store portions of their contents for your personal, noncommercial use, all according to the terms and conditions of the Safari Tech Books Online Terms of Service Agreement.  As stated in this agreement, "full scale copying of book contents is expressly prohibited".  In addition, users are "not to use 'Web spiders' or any other automated retrieval mechanisms when using the Service other than what is provided by the Service".
