Libraries Database of the Month |
November 2005
Oxford Scholarship Online is a cross-searchable library containing the full text of over 980 Oxford books in the following areas:
Economics and Finance - Titles ranging from some of the classic thinkers to a number of modern masters – twentieth century winners of the Nobel Prize for Economics and, especially in the Clarendon series, many of those whose thinking is currently driving the subject forward. Authors are spread across the world and come from America, Europe and Asia.
Political Science - Original work across many of the key areas of the discipline, from Comparative Politics to Political Theory, International Relations to European Union Studies.
Religion - Original scholarship in all areas of religion and theology, including contributions by young academics alongside books by eminent scholars from all over the world.
Specially-commissioned abstracts and keywords are available at book and chapter level, and at least 200 new and recently-published books will be added each year.
Each month, FAU Libraries will highlight a selected database from our collection of online resources. Don’t forget that you must first login through EZ Proxy if you wish to access a database from off-campus.
