Accounting Research Manager

Accounting Research Manager presents daily developments and recent events in accounting, auditing, regulatory matters, and governmental affairs. Four additional sections of the database also provide useful resources:

• Accounting Standards allows users to quickly locate guidance and resolve issues under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) and International Accounting Standards (IAS), including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).



• SEC Practice provides background on SEC requirements as well as guidance on their application. It also presents the text of SEC rules.



• Engagement Standards
allows the user to quickly locate guidance and resolve practice issues relating to audit engagements, attestation engagements, and compilation and review engagements. All are conducted in accordance with U.S. professional standards.


• Government presents authoritative literature and interpretations that guide the user through government accounting and audit topics. These include the Governmental GAAP Practice Manual and the Governmental GAAP Guide.
