JCBA's Paper Lab at Historic Building T6
Class limit: 14
Marbling offers a great opportunity to study both pattern and color. In this class, students will learn all aspects of acrylic paint marbling from mixing paint to perfecting intricate designs. We’ll start at the beginning and move through both historic and contemporary patterns, creating a portfolio of fine papers for use in many projects. In addition to many sheets of paper, students will also marble a silk scarf.
General Public: $195
FAU Faculty & Staff, Students from other Institutions: $185
FAU Students: $175
Advance registration is required for all JCBA workshops. To register, email JCBA Director John Cutrone email@example.com. Sending your email will begin the registration process.
DOROTHY HAMILTON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
One seat in this workshop is available to an FAU student for just the cost of materials ($40) thanks to funds raised in memory of Dorothy Hamilton, who loved JCBA’s monthly Real Mail Fridays letter writing socials. To be considered for this seat, you must be a current FAU student and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org explaining what it would mean to you to have the opportunity to take this workshop. Applications for this opportunity will be accepted through June 10, 2018.
