Artist's Statement
Rhiannon Alpers currently lives, works, and teaches in San
Francisco. She has an MFA in Book Arts and Interdisciplinary
Arts from Columbia College Chicago and a BA in Book Arts
from UC Santa Barbara, College
of Creative Studies. She has taught at the Center for Book
and Paper in Chicago, Columbia College Chicago, The San
Francisco Center for the Book, and Santa Reparata in
Florence Italy. She is a papermaker,
letterpress printer and sculptural book artist.This broadside was letterpress printed on handmade
cotton/abaca paper and hand decorated.
