Our favorite book arts enthusiast has just turned 90! This summer's book arts exhibition here at JCBA and throughout the Wimberly Library celebrates Arthur, featuring some of his favorite books from the Jaffe Collection and ephemera and photographs of his life from our archives. Perhaps the most amazing thing, though, is this: Book artists from all over the world have contributed books to the Jaffe Collection in honor of this occasion. The list of artists who have contributed books reads like a Who's Who of the Book Arts world. It's an amazing exhibition.
"Time Flies When You're Having Fun" runs through August 10 throughout FAU's Wimberly Library. The portion of the exhibition located inside the Jaffe Center for Book Arts may be viewed Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM, or by appointment. The major portion of the exhibition, however, is located in areas of the library accessible anytime during regular library hours.
