United States Patent and Trademark Office
Provides full-text of all U.S. patents issued since January 1, 1976, and full-page images of each page of every U.S. patent issued since 1790.

Patent and Trademark Depository Library Program (PTDLP)
Information is given on resources and programs provided to assist patent searchers. Member libraries are situated throughout the country. The Broward County Main Library in Ft. Lauderdale is the depository library for this area.

Google Patent Search
The popular search engine now features a site devoted to patents. Results from patent searches will retrieve patent summaries, specific claims made by the patents, drawings, citations, and references.

Digital Commons @ Florida Atlantic University
The Office of Technology Transfer has made accessible information on patents secured by Florida Atlantic University and its faculty, 1980-present).

Delphion (Formerly IBM Intellectual Property Network)
Searchable bibliographic data and complete images for patents issued by the United States Patent & Trademark Office, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Patent Office, and the Japanese Patent Information Organization (bibliographic data and abstracts only) This is a fee-based subscription service .

European Patent Office
A service of the European Patent Office, member states of the European Patent Organization, and the European Commission. All patent applications published in the past two years are searchable, and English-language abstracts are available for a large proportion of patents throughout the world going back to 1970.

Japan Patent Office
The Industrial Property Digital Library of the Japanese Patent Office is a searchable database of patent information held by the JPO. PAJ (Patent Abstracts of Japan) is the English-language version of the Japanese Publications (Kokai). The PAJ contains bibliographic data, summarized text, and main drawings.
