ELECTRONIC DATABASES

	CINAHL - Ebsco The Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature database provides coverage of the literature related to nursing and allied health. More than 1200 journals are regularly indexed with abstracts available for more than 800 of these titles. The database also provides access to books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of professional practice, educational software and audiovisual materials in nursing. Coverage from 1982.
	ProQuest Digital Dissertations    Authoritative source for information about U.S. doctoral dissertations and master's theses. This database represents the work of authors from over 1,000 graduate schools and universities.
	EBM Reviews-Best Evidence - Ovid The Best Evidence Collection consists of two journals; ACP Journal Club, a publication of the American College of Physicians, and Evidence-Based Medicine, a joint publication with the British Medical Journal Group. The database identifies and provides references from the top clinical journals identifying studies that are both methodologically sound and clinically relevant.
	EBM Reviews-Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews - Ovid The database includes the full text of regularly updated systematic reviews of the effects of healthcare prepared by the Cochrane Collaboration.
	ERIC - Cambridge Scientific Abstracts Relevant to every segment of the educational profession including nursing. Citations and abstracts with coverage from 1966.
	MEDLINE - FirstSearch, and PubMed Online equivalent to Index Medicus, the International Nursing Index, and the Index to Dental Literature. Citations and abstracts with coverage from 1966.
	PsycARTICLES  - APA Contains the full text of articles from APA journals and selected EPF journals, most from 1988 to the present.
	PsycINFO - WebLUIS Databases A-Z. Covers international literature in psychology and related areas. Includes citations and abstracts to journal articles, books and book chapters, technical reports and dissertations. Coverage from 1887.
	Social Science Abstracts (SocialSciAbs) Subject areas include addiction studies, anthropology, area studies, community health and medical care, corrections, criminal justice, criminology, economics, environmental studies, ethics, family studies, gender studies, geography, gerontology, international relations, law, minority studies, planning and public administration, policy sciences, political science, psychiatry, psychology, public welfare, social work, sociology, and urban studies. Full text coverage begins in January 1995.
	Sociological Abstracts  - CSA CSA Sociological Abstracts abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences.
	WilsonSelect Wilson OmniFile Full Text, Mega Edition is a multi-disciplinary database providing the complete content - indexing, abstracts, and full text - from six of Wilson's full-text databases: Education Full Text, General Science Full Text, Humanities Full Text, Readers' Guide Full Text, Social Sciences Full Text, and Wilson Business Full Text. Full-text articles from five additional periodical databases are also included when available: Applied Science & Technology Full Text, Art Full Text, Biological & Agricultural Index, Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, and Library Literature & Information Science Full Text. Full-text coverage begins in 1994. Each database has its own start dates for indexing, abstracting, and full text; start dates for full-text rights to individual journals vary within a database.

E-JOURNALS

	Journals@Ovid Full Text - Ovid Search the OVID database of more than 300 of the world's leading scientific, academic, and medical journals. Links to the full text of 45 titles subscribed to by FAU.
	Online Journal of Issues in Nursing A peer-reviewed electronic journal that provides a forum for discussion of pertinent issues in nursing.
	Online Journal of Knowledge Synthesis for Nursing - FAU Libraries Electronic Collection, Electronic Journals by Title.
	Elsevier Science Direct - FAU Libraries Electronic Collection, Database A-Z. Includes the electronic full-text version of approximately 650 of Elsevier's traditional research journals. These journals are primarily in the scientific, technical and medical disciplines including clinical medicine, life sciences and social sciences.
	JSTOR - FAU Libraries Electronic Collection Online full-text storage of articles from scholarly journals in economics, history, mathematics, philosophy, political science, sociology, and other disciplines from their beginning up until several years ago. The more recent issues/volumes are NOT included.
	Synergy - FAU Libraries Electronic Collection Full text of selected journals published by Blackwell Science and Munksgaard Presses
