FACTS.com (1974-present) - A database that provides access to information on events, people, statistics, and issues of the last 20 years. Made available through Facts on File. Communication Studies: A SAGE Full-Text Collection (1982-present) - Provides full-text access to 16 communication journals published by SAGE and participating societies. Covers journalism, public opinion, mass communication, intercultural communication, media studies, rhetoric, and more. Expanded Academic ASAP (1980-present) - A comprehensive database that covers a wide range of academic subjects. Includes some full-text articles along with charts and graphs where applicable. Humanities Full Text (Use this in place of Humanities Abstracts) (1984-present) - Subject areas include archaeology, area studies, art, classical studies, communications, dance, film, folklore, gender studies, history, journalism, linguistics, literary and social criticism literature, music, performing arts, philosophy, religion and theology. Full-text coverage begins in January 1995. JSTOR - Online journal storage for more than 320 academic journals in the arts and sciences, business, ecology, botany, general science, and language and literature. ProQuest Digital Dissertations (1861-present)- Access citations and abstracts for all titles in the Dissertation Abstracts databases. Titles published since 1997 are available in 24 page PDF previews. Almanac of American Politics (Full Text) - Features information from the 107th Congress, election results, congressional committees, and more. Published by the National Journal Group Inc. Edgar Database of Corporate Information (Full Text) - Look up SEC filings for publicly-traded companies. Put out by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. FAU Libraries Government Resources - Links directly to the Government Resources homepage. FAU Library is the only federal depository in Palm Beach County. Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (Some Full Text) - Archive of computer-based research and instructional data for the social sciences. National Journal (Full Text) - Weekly magazine on politics and government. Site features selected stories and columns. Political Risk Yearbook Online - Provides political and economic risk analyses on over 100 countries. Reports open in PDF and require Acrobat Reader.
Not everything is available online or electronically. Sometimes the best resources are found in print format. The following materials are some of the best sources for intercultural communication and cultural diversity. They are located in the Reference area of the Boca Raton FAU library and, since they are non-circulating, they can only be viewed in the library.

- Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting - The national watch group that critically examines media bias and censorship. As a whole, the organization advocates for greater diversity in the press and media. Publishes the bi-monthly magazine, Extra!

- Public Radio International (PRI) - Site for the nation's leading developer of non-commercial audio content. PRI is an independent, non-profit corporation.
- Current Online News about Public Broadcasting - Biweekly newspaper about public broadcasting. Founded in 1980, the paper is published 23 times a year. Many of the paper's articles are posted on this site.
- International Center for Journalists - An independent, nonprofit organization whose goal it is to improve the quality of journalism worldwide. It is especially interested in countries with little or no tradition of independent presses.
- International Federation of Journalists - World-wide organization of journalists established in 1926 that represents 450,000 members in 100 countries. Part of its mission is to promote action to defend freedom of the press and social justice internationally. The organization is based in Brussels, Belgium.
- Union for Democratic Communications - An organization of communication researchers, journalists, media producers, policy analysts, academics and activists who critically examine the communication and media establishments.
