ELECTRONIC DATABASES

	BasicBIOSIS - FirstSearch A subset, by journal title and year, of BIOSIS Previews. Provides information on recent developments in the biological and biomedical sciences from core life science journals. Coverage from 1994.
	Biological & Agricultural Index This database includes abstracts and full text coverage for selected journals. Periodical coverage includes a wide range of scientific journals, from popular to professional, that pertain to biology and agriculture. About 45 percent of the focus is on agriculture. Full text coverage begins in January 1997.
	Biology Digest - CSA Covers all of the life sciences. Designed especially for undergraduates and high school students. Coverage from 1989.
	Cambridge Scientific Abstracts - FAU Libraries Electronic Collection. These databases cover a broad range of specific subjects in the following scientific disciplines: aquatic sciences, medical and biological sciences, environmental sciences, computer sciences and engineering specialties, and materials sciences. Coverage varies by database.
	Current Contents Connect A weekly service that includes seven content databases covering approximately 6,600 unique journals in the areas of science, technology, medicine, social science, business, the humanities, and popular culture. Current 12 months.
	Dissertation Abstracts - ProQuest. Covers every doctoral dissertation completed in the U.S. at accredited institutions for the last 150 years. Includes some master's theses and foreign language dissertations. Coverage from 1861.
	Elsevier Science Direct - Located on WebLUIS and the FAU Libraries Electronic Collection. This database contains the electronic full-text version of approximately 650 of Elsevier's traditional research journals. These journals are primarily in the scientific, technical and medical disciplines. Coverage from 1997 to date.
	General Science Abstracts This database covers such areas as astronomy, atmospheric science, biology, botany, chemistry, conservation, earth science, environment, food, genetics, health, mathematics, medicine, microbiology, nutrition, oceanography, physics, physiology, and zoology. Full text coverage begins in January 1995.
	Kluwer Online Journals Full text of scholarly journals in business, law, medicine, humanities, science, and social science disciplines. Coverage varies by title.
	MEDLINE - FirstSearch and CSA Online equivalent to Index Medicus, the International Nursing Index, and the Index to Dental Literature. Citations and abstracts with coverage from 1966.
	Science Citation Index Expanded -  Web of Science Multi disciplinary database covering the journal literature of the sciences. Provides citations and author abstracts from 5300 major journals. 1992 to date.
