ELECTRONIC DATABASES

	American History & Life (ABC-CLIO) - Database provides chronologies and summaries of significant events. It also suggests topics for study and research sources to support them.  Available through FAU Electronic Collection and WebLUIS.
	ArchiveGrid (formally Archival Resources) Database provides centralized access for searching and retrieval of archival finding aids.  Available through FAU Electronic Collection.
	Book Review Digest- (Wilson) - Database features reviews of English-language fiction and non-fiction books excluding reviews of textbooks, government publications, and technical books in law and the sciences.  Available through FAU Libraries Electronic Collections and WebLUIS.
	The Center for Research Libraries Databases- (CRL) - Databases include Civilian Conservation Corps Camp Papers, c. 1934-1942,  CIS Serials, Dissertations Database, Ethnic Press, Foreign Newspapers, and Scientific Research Materials Project SRMP.  Available through FAU Libraries Electronic Collections.
	Lexis-Nexis Congressional - (Lexis-Nexis) - Database provides access to U.S. legislative information.  Available through FAU Libraries Electronic Collections and WebLUIS.
	Dissertations- (ProQuest) - Database provides bibliographic citations and abstracts of doctoral dissertations and selected master’s theses.  Available through FAU Libraries Electronic Collections and WebLUIS.
	Expanded Academic Index- (InfoTrac) - Index provides some full text scholarly journals, news magazines, and newspapers.  Available through FAU Libraries Electronic Collections and WebLUIS.
	First Search - (OCLC) - 54 databases include Article First, ECO, NetFirst and WorldCat.  Available through FAU Libraries Electronic Collections and WebLUIS.
	History Resource Center - U.S.- (Gale) - Database provides full text availability and comprehensive searching options. Available through FAU Libraries Electronic Collections.
	Harp Week- Database focus is the Civil War Era and Reconstruction (1857-1877).  Available through FAU Libraries Electronic Collections and WebLUIS.
	Historical Abstracts- (ABC-CLIO) - This source abstracts and indexes literature originating in countries other than the U.S. and Canada. The scope of coverage is 1450- present. Available through FAU Libraries Electronic Collection and WebLUIS.
	JSTOR- Comprehensive archive of important scholarly journal literature included in this broad scope database. Many full text journal articles are available. Available through FAU Libraries Electronic Collections and WebLUIS.
	New York Times Provides coverage of national and international news, plus coverage of important speeches and  documents, Supreme Court decisions and presidential press conference transcripts.
	Wall Street Journal The paper is considered the preeminent publication for business news and information on financial markets worldwide.  Each issue of every newspaper is indexed thoroughly, so researchers can access not only top news stories but also detailed information from all the paper's sections. For each article cited in the database, an abstract of up to 75 words helps the researcher know if he complete text will meet his or her needs.
