A multidisciplinary database covering of the arts and humanities. It indexes 1,144 of the world's leading arts as well as covering individually selected, relevant items from over 6,800 social science journals.

English Short Title Catalogue (Eureka)
Provides extensive descriptions and holdings information for letterpress materials printed in Great Britain or any of its dependencies in any language - as well as for materials printed in English anywhere else in the world. Coverage is from the beginnings of print to 1800 including all recorded English monographs printed between 1475 and 1700. The English Short Title Catalogue is updated daily.

Essay and General Literature Index
Essay and General Literature Index is a bibliographic database that cites essays and articles contained in collections of essays and miscellaneous works published in the United States, Great Britain, and Canada. More than 300 volumes are indexed annually. Additionally, more than 20 annuals and serial publications are indexed. Essay and General Literature Index also provides full bibliographic information on collective titles indexed. Essay and General Literature Index focuses on the humanities and social sciences, with subject coverage ranging from economics, political science, and history to criticism of literary works, drama, and film.

Provides information helpful to keeping abreast of cutting-edge developments in disciplines concerned with the nature and use of language. The database covers all aspects of the study of language including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics.

Literature Resource Center - LRC, Scribner, Twayne US, Twayne English, and Twayne World Authors (CSA)
Delivers biographical and bibliographical information on authors and their works. Covers authors of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama, history, and journalism.

MLA International Bibliography (Gale Group)
Indexes critical literary and language scholarship and provides access to over 4,000 journals and serials published worldwide, as well as books, essay collections, working papers, proceedings, dissertations, and bibliographies. Nearly 45,000 records are added annually.

Project Muse (Johns Hopkins University Press)
Provides online access to journals in the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, and more.

Wright American Fiction (Committee on Institutional Cooperation)
This is a collection of 19th century American fiction, as listed in Lyle Wright's bibliography American Fiction, 1851-1875. There are currently 1932 texts included (1731 unedited, 201 fully edited and encoded) by 945 authors.

From the first book printed in English by William Caxton, through the age of Spenser and Shakespeare and the tumult of the English Civil War, Early English Books Online (EEBO) will contain over 125,000 titles listed in Pollard & Redgrave's Short-Title Catalogue (1475-1640), Wing's Short-Title Catalogue (1641-1700), and the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661).
