NOTE: The Library of Congress has not established "contemporary art" as an official subject heading, although using it in a keyword search should retrieve results.

	Aleph (FAU Libraries Catalog) Holdings of the FAU Libraries (all campuses). Searchable by title, author, subject, and keyword. Advanced search allows for more control over search parameters, including language and date.
	RLIN Bibliographic File and WorldCat (Eureka / FirstSearch) Shows the holdings of virtually every major library, archive, and research center with materials in all formats dating back to the beginning of the printed word. RLIN seems to describe more humanities-based works at larger universities and research institutions.
	AccuNet/AP Multimedia Archive (AccuWeather/Associated Press) Contains the AP's current photos from their 50 million image print and negative library, as well as charts, graphs, tables, and maps from the AP's graphics portfolio.
	Alternative Press Index (FirstSearch) Partial full-text database that indexes alternative journals covering cultural, economic, political and social change. Coverage from 1991 to present.
	ARTstor ARTstor is a non-profit initiative, founded by The Andrew W.Mellon Foundation, with a mission to use digital technology to enhance scholarship, teaching and learning in the arts and associated fileds. The ARTstor Digital Library Charter Collection is a repository of hundreds of thousands of digital images and related data and tools to actively use those images. Art Index Retrospective is a bibliographic database that cumulates citations to Art Index volumes 1-32 of the printed index published between 1929-1984.
	Art Index Retrospective (H. W. Wilson) Indexes articles, reviews, images, etc. in hundreds of journals and magazines on primarily art history but all related disciplines. Coverage from 1929 to 1984; continued by Art Abstracts, above. Also available in Print (1929-1984, call number REF Z 5937 .A78).
	Arts & Humanities Citation Index (Web of Science) A unique citation database which allows searching cited references as well as traditional searches independently or in combination with Science Citation Index Expanded or Social Sciences Citation Index. Also available in Print (1976-1997, call number REF AI 3 .A63).
	BHA: Bibliography of the History of Art (Eureka) Covers European and American art topics from late antiquity to the present. Provides abstracts on articles from over 2500 journals, chapters in books, dissertations, exhibition catalogs, and conference proceedings. Coverage from 1973 to present, incorporating its predecessors RAA (Repertoire d'Art et d'Archeologie 1973-1989) and RILA (International Repertory of the Literature of Art 1975-1989).
	FRANCIS (Eureka) Indexes a wide range of primarily European multilingual information in the humanities with strengths in religion, the history of art, and literature. Coverage from 1984 to present.
	GenderWatch (Softline) Mostly full-text collection of newspapers, magazines and journals related to women's studies, men's studies, and gender and gay/lesbian issues. A rich collection of articles, editorials, columns, reviews, etc. provides a broad diversity of perspectives and viewpoints. Coverage varies; 1970s to present.
	Groveart (Grove Dictionary of Art Online) Contains 45,000 articles on every aspect of the visual arts--painting, sculpture, graphic arts, architecture, decorative arts, and photography--from prehistory to the present day. Includes access to the Bridgeman Art Library of over 70,000 digitized works of art. Also available in Print (call number REF N 31 .D5 1996).
	Humanities Abstracts Subject areas include archaeology, area studies, art, classical studies, communications, dance, film, folklore, gender studies, history, journalism, linguistics, literary and social criticism literature, music, performing arts, philosophy, religion and theology. Full-text coverage begins in January 1995.
