The electronic resources are available from the FAU Libraries home page by following the links entitled Indexes/ Databases or Articles. Some of these resources have full-text articles available online. To access these resources from off campus, use the EZ Proxy link and log in using your 14-digit Owl Card number. CINAHL
The Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health (CINAHL) database provides authoritative coverage of the literature related to nursing and allied health.
 

Communication Sciences and Disorders Dome
This database provides access to books, journal articles, dissertations, and web sites relevant in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders. This resource also includes a complete dictionary of speech-language pathology and audiology terms.

 
Education Full Text
A database of journal articles covering all aspects of education from 1983 to present. The print version, Education Index, covering the years 1929-1995 is also available (REF Z 5813 E23).
 
ERIC
Contains both Current Index to Journals in Education, which lists journals covering all aspects of education, and Resources in Education, which lists ERIC documents, a collection of curriculum guides, grant reports, research materials, and other related material. The full-text of most of the more recent ERIC documents are available online. The library also has most older ERIC documents available on microfiche
 
InfoTrac OneFile
A one-stop source for news and periodical articles on a wide range of topics. Search results can be limited to refereed publications and/or articles with full-text availability.
 
Kraus Curriculum Development Library (KCDL Online)
This searchable database of curricula, frameworks, and standards brings together educational objectives, content, instructional strategies, and evaluative techniques for all subjects covered in PreK-12 and Adult Basic Education. Many recent documents are available online. Older documents are available on microfiche (LB 1570 K72).
 
Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA)
This database covers all aspects of the study of language including pathology, phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics.
 
MEDLINE/PubMed
Combines Medline, the premier database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences with PreMedline, the database that provides basic citation information and abstracts before the full records are prepared and added to MEDLINE.
 
ProQuest Digital Dissertations
Authoritative source for information about U.S. doctoral dissertations and master's theses. This database represents the work of authors from over 1,000 graduate schools and universities indexed in Dissertation abstracts international from 1866-present. The full text of most dissertations since 1997 is available in PDF format. Older records do not have abstracts online. See the print edition for earlier abstracts (REF Z 5055 U5A53).
 
PsycINFO
Produced by the American Psychological Association, PsycINFO covers the professional and academic literature in psychology and related disciplines. These disciplines include medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, health administration, law, and public health.

ERIC: The library owns the complete collection of ERIC documents on microfiche. If an ERIC citation has an identification number with an AED@ prefix, the full-text of this document will usually be available on microfiche in the microforms room. Covers 1966- .
 
ETS Test Collection: This is a library of over 14,000 tests and other measurement devices. The collection is indexed by four print catalogs: Vol. 1: Achievement tests and measurement devices; Vol. 2: Vocational tests; Vol. 3: Tests for special populations; and Vol.4: Cognitive aptitude and intelligence tests. The catalogs are located at REF LB 3051 E79. The Tests in Microfiche are located in the microforms room LB 3051 T448. Covers primarily twentieth-century American tests.
 
History of education: This microfiche collection includes English, French, and German language materials on the history of education, including biographical information on prominent educators.
The collection covers monographs published between the 1400 and 1800s. The indexes to the
collection are located in the microforms room (LA 5 H57).
Kraus Curriculum Development Library: is a collection of selected outstanding and innovative curriculum guides developed by schools, state education agencies, and private curriculum development companies in the U.S. and Canada. The guides are in microfiche format accompanied by a printed Cumulative Subject Guide (LB 1570 K72). Library owns 1983-1994, 1997-2000.
