Applied Science & Technology Abstracts
Indexes the latest findings in every area of science, engineering, and technology covering trade and industrial publications, journals issued by professional and technical societies, and specialized subject periodicals. Abstracting coverage begins with periodicals published in March 1993. Full Text coverage begins in 1997.

International not-for-profit consortium of colleges, universities and libraries that provides scholarly research resources to CRL member libraries.

Congressional Universe--CIS/Index (FAU Electronic Collection)
Provides access to information published by and about Congress including indexing and abstracting of the CIS/Index to Publications of the U.S. Congress from 1970 to the present.

Community of Science Funding Opportunities (FAU Electronic Collection)
Sampling of new and updated engineering award information from COS Funding Opportunities. COS Funding Opportunities is the largest source of funding information on the Web and contains more than 15,500 awards from around the world, including more than 2,916 awards in the field of engineering.

Current Contents (WebLUIS)
Contains weekly update of table of contents for over 6,000 journals in engineering, technology, and applied sciences. Coverage is current year.

ISI’s current awareness update service.

Dissertation Abstracts (WebLUIS)
Covers every doctoral dissertation completed in the U.S. at accredited institutions for the last 150 years. Includes some master's theses and foreign language dissertations.

Source for scientific, technical and medical research offering more than 1,100 journals across 16 science disciplines including the social sciences.

Engineering Index (WebLUIS)
(Compendex*Plus) corresponds to the print version of Engineering Index. It covers significant engineering and technical literature from journals (over 1500), technical reports, engineering society publications, books, and conference proceedings and papers (over 600). LUIS coverage of Engineering Index begins with 1991 and continues to date.

History of Science, Technology, and Medicine (Eureka)
Contains records describing journal articles, conference proceedings, books, book reviews, and dissertations in the history of science, technology, medicine and allied historical fields. Citations reflect the contents of more than 1,000 journals, and partial contents of several hundred more.

Lexis-Nexis Statistical (FAU Electronic Collection)
Provides detailed abstracts, indexing, and locator information for all statistical reports of general research value issued by the federal government since the early 1960's. Includes direct links to all key statistical data available on federal agency World Wide Web sites as well as direct-links to hundreds of reports stored within the Universe service itself.

MathSci Net (FAU Electronic Collection)
Comprehensive database of the world's literature on mathematics and its applications in a wide range of disciplines, including statistics, computer science, operations research, econometrics, engineering, physics, biology and many other related areas. Coverage is from 1940.

PapersFirst (FirstSearch)
Provides access to individual papers presented at conferences worldwide, covering every congress, symposium, exposition, workshop, and meeting added to The British Library Document Supply Centre's vast Proceedings collection since October 1993.

ProceedingsFirst (WebLUIS)
Provides tables of contents of papers presented at conferences worldwide. Each record contains a list of the papers presented at each conference. Like its companion, PapersFirst, ProceedingsFirst provides access to The British Library Document Supply Centre's vast collection of conference proceedings.

Full-text articles from five additional periodical databases are also included when available: Applied Science & Technology Full Text, Art Full Text, Biological & Agricultural Index, Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, and Library Literature & Information Science Full Text. Full-text coverage begins in 1994. Each database has its own start dates for indexing, abstracting, and full text; start dates for full-text rights to individual journals vary within a database.
