FAU Students & Affiliates
The Reference and Instructional Services Department provides assistance with using the FAU Libraries'
collections to the FAU community and the students and faculty at the Palm Beach
State College - Boca Raton campus. We will also provide these services to
public patrons who visit the library.
Need help finding information? We can assist by recommending books, journal articles,

Tutorials & Webcasts are
online "how-to" guides to using library resources and are available 24/7. Topics include using the library catalog and databases such as SciFinder, RefWorks,
Instructors of FAU & PBSC - Boca Raton Campus are welcomed to assign these to students or post their URLs onto course management systems.
Library Instruction & Orientation

Faculty members may now request a LibGuide for Boca Raton classes without scheduling an instructional session.
For in-depth research or information needs, request an individual research consultation with a librarian.
Learn about various library resources! Workshops cover library databases,

Computers, Printing & Copying
Computers on the first floor east of the library are equipped with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
and internet access. Bringing a Flash drive to save information is highly recommended.

Printers & Copying. The first floor east has several laser jet printers, including color, and a copier which operate on a
pay-per-use basis. Use your Owl Card to print, and use cash, debit or credit card to add funds to your Print Account for use at the Library and all FAU Computer Lab printers and copiers. See the new FAU Printing Services website for more printing information.
To fax documents and for advanced printing tasks (such as posters, lamination, or
high-volume copies), please visit the Copy Center.
It is located
on the southwest end of the Breezeway, between the Starbucks and FAU
Scanners are available for public and student use in the 1st Floor
East Reference computing area. Bring your USB/Flash memory device to
save your documents.
Need to print from a laptop?
Current FAU students with laptops or web-enabled mobile devices can use FAU Online Printing Service while in the library.
