Activities: In this session we
will cover how to access the Library's catalog and databases and where
to locate useful resources for completing assignments. Some useful
databases will be demonstrated and information on citing sources will
be presented.
Goals: At the conclusion of this session
you will be able to:
- Access the library's catalog from home or
campus;
- Choose helpful databases for doing
management/business research;
- Know how to navigate selected databases and
retrieve chosen records;

journals owned by the Library can be found by doing a
Journal/Magazine Title search in the catalog. To see if a title
is included within an electronic database, search Electronic
Journals by title from the Electronic Collection
page.
Social Science databases can be found by
going to Research Resources and selecting Index/Databases
followed by Databases by Subject. There is also available
a Research
Guide on Women Studies.
