Now, let's search for the latest issue of Newsweek and also one from 1973.

Make sure Journal/Magazine Title is selected in the search type box.
Type the title in the search terms box. (See Figure 19 below)

The Catalog tells us there is one item with the title Newsweek, but this view does not tell us what years the library has.
You must click the Library Has link to see what issues we have in our collection. (See Figure 20 below.)

Check to see what the current issue is by looking under the Current Issues heading.
The Catalog says that volume 141, issue 9 (March 3, 2003) is the most current issue received. (See Figure 21 below)

The first entry of a record for magazines and journals is usually for the print version.

The Catalog says that volume 141, issue 17 (April 28, 2003) is the most current issue received.

The Library's print collection begins with volume 89 (year 1977).

This record is for the microfilm version of Newsweek. Notice that we would have to access the microfilm for our 1973 issue because the print collection began in 1977.

The Library does not currently receive Newsweek in microfilm.

This tells us that the Jupiter library has Newsweek in microfilm.
