CITING LEGAL REFERENCES

REF KF245.B58 1991     The Bluebook:  A Uniform System of Citation.  Cambridge,
            Massachusetts:  Published and distributed by the Harvard Law Review Association, 1991.
            This resource is the most authoritative source for legal citations and gives the proper format
            with
examples.  There is a brief section on the rules for citing federal taxation materials (e.g.
            revenue
rulings).

BF76.7.P83 2001     Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. 
            5th edWashington D.C.:  American Psychological Association, 2001.
            There is a part of this book which provides the proper format for citations as they are found in
            the
text of a paper and on the “Works Cited” or “References” page.

APA Style Electronic Formats (by Dr. Mary Ellen Guffey)
This “quick” guide to citing sources is found on the Internet and provides the important components of a citation with
examples.

A Guide to Writing Research Papers (based on APA)
Gives detailed information about the form and structure of research papers and how to properly cite  sources used, specifically the use of parenthetical references instead of footnotes or endnotes.
