PROFESSOR PISCITELLI
LIBRARIAN: KEN
FRANKEL
APRIL 4, 2008
The selected sources listed below are useful for finding
information in books and articles about the
interpretation of fiction.
FAU LIBRARIES CATALOG
-
The Library Catalog allows
you to search for books, government documents, DVDs,
electronic books, and other materials in the Library's
collection. The catalog will tell you if the library
owns a particular periodical (journal or magazine) but
does not include the articles found in periodicals. To
find these you must use a different database (see
below).
-
The Advanced search
screen allows you to combine terms using “and, or, not”
as well as limiting a search by location, date, format,
or language.
-
To search for literary
criticism and interpretation, search for the author's
name as a subject.
ELECTRONIC DATABASES
Electronic Databases are
available from the FAU Libraries home page under "Quick
Links" and then "Indexes/Databases". When accessing the
databases from off campus, first be sure to click on the Off
Campus Connect link and log in using your 14-digit Owl Card number.
