The ILL Department at the Boca Raton campus library provides interlibrary and intralibrary loan services for the SeaTech campus. All requests should be placed through the ILLiad system, indicating whether the request is for an interlibrary (not owned by FAU) or an intralibrary (FAU owns) loan.

Since the SeaTech campus does not have a library, ILL will charge out materials on your library card (for FAU-owned materials) or in ILLiad (for non-FAU- owned materials), and send them to the SeaTech office via campus mail and the Ocean Engineering courier for pick-up.

Books from the FAU Libraries collection may be renewed online from the Libraries Home Page using the link entitled “View/Renew Items you have checked out.” Books borrowed from other libraries may be renewed in some cases, but renewals must be requested in ILLiad at least 3 days in advance of the due date. SeaTech users should return both interlibrary and intralibrary loan books to the ILL office in the Boca Raton campus library (LY 133) via the Ocean Engineering courier and campus mail, using the padded envelope or box the material was sent in. Photocopies received from ILL do not have to returned to us.
