Mutanabbi Street Starts Here

This collection contains 42
hand-printed literary broadsides created by the Mutanabbi
Street Coalition as a memorial for the 2007 attack on
Baghdad’s Mutanabbi Street, the historic heart and soul of
the Baghdad literary and intellectual community. Responding
to tragedy with positive creativity, the Coalition united
independent bookmakers to print the work of Iraqi poets in
unique broadsides, the sale of which supports Doctors

History Collection

The FAU Libraries
partnered with the Boca Raton Historical Society to provide
online access to the full text and audio of interviews
conducted with residents of Pearl City, an African-American
community that
that played
a crucial role in Boca Raton’s early history.
