This digital collection contains scholarship from FAU’s Department of English.  English majors develop advanced skills in writing and critical interpretation that are valued by employers in a number of fields. They establish careers in law, medicine, entertainment, communications, information technology, journalism, speech writing, government, publishing, and teaching. The graduate program of the Department of English was nationally ranked by Black Issues in Higher Education (July 14, 2005) as a top African-American and Minority MA degree producer. MA, MFA, and MAT degrees are offered.
