Reserve Information for Students

Finding Reserve Material

From the Library's home page, choose the FAU Libraries Course Reserves under Quick Links or Research Resources.

From the Basic Search screen, select a search type, either course number or Instructor's last name.
Example:

For course MAC 1105, type, mac1105, without the space, then click on "Submit Search."
For the Instructor's name, type the last name, Rockford, or the beginning of the last name, Roc, click on "Submit Search."

All material on traditional paper Reserve will have either a Reserve call number (RES 0888 or RES 1211) or a Library of Congress call number (PS3545.O337 L6 1957b). Please give that number to a staff member at the Circulation Desk.

Guidelines for Reserve Materials

Students are permitted to check-out two Reserves items at a time.
Reserve material cannot be renewed. A student wishing to re-check out a Reserve item must wait 30 minutes.
There is a 25¢ per hour overdue fine for Reserve material.

E-reserve items are indicated by a URL next to the word "Link:".
