Non Registered Graduate Students Policy

Q.
May graduate students who are working on their thesis or dissertation but are not currently enrolled in courses check out books, use interlibrary loan, or remotely access library databases?

 A.
Active status FAU graduate school students have full library privileges, including remote access to licensed library resources.

FAU graduate students who were enrolled during the previous two semesters, but who are not enrolled during the current semester, and who are actively working on their degrees, may still be eligible to receive full library privileges by filling out an "Unregistered Graduate Student" form which the Access Services Department will use to verify your status.

Description of  the registration policy and registration options that satisfy the continuous enrollment requirement can be found in the  the University Catalog Academic, Policies and Regulations, Additional Information for Graduate Students.

To comply with publisher license agreements, remote access to FAU licensed library resources expire at the end of the last semester for which one is registered.
